British Airways is the world's biggest international airline, carrying more passengers from one country to another than any of its competitors. Also, one of the world’s longest established airlines, it has always been regarded as an industry-leader. British Airways’ worldwide route network covers some 566 destinations in 133 countries.

GB Airways operates under a franchise agreement with British Airways. This agreement ensures all elements of our service are delivered in the style of British Airways; our flight numbers use a BA prefix; our aircraft are painted in British Airways livery; our Cabin Crew wear the British Airways uniform and offer on-board service that matches the highest standards of British Airways.

PGA - PORTUGÁLIA AIRLINES started its regular flights on the 7th of July 1990. Providing the best service and comfort, we are continuously trying to please and satisfy the ones who are the reason of our existence.

At a first stage PGA has operated scheduled flights on the Lisbon/Porto/Lisbon, and Lisbon/Faro/Lisbon routes and charter flights to Funchal (Madeira), as well as charter flights to other European destinations, as regular international operations were not allowed by the Portuguese legislation.

The Azores are not a place for mass tourism, and hopefully they never will be. Most European travelers will reach the islands via Lisbon, where they take the connecting flight of SATA International. It's not only the name of the airline that grants international standards onboard the planes.

Modern equipment and a great service make the flight most enjoyable. Since May 2000 SATA offers a weekly direct flight from Frankfurt to Ponta Delgada.

Within the archipelago one travels with SATA Air Acores, which links the islands with mordern propeller machines.
Given that the number of flights and seats is limited, one should reserve in time.
