Located in the heart of the Minho Litoral region, on the left bank of the river Este, the house of the Quinta da Ponte do Louro it's a good example of the traditional house of this region with a large treshing-floor paved with granite. Its history is bound up with French invasions, and doors and windows are still lined with iron plate and have oculi and loopholes for firing through. Still in activity, this farm, surrounded by a romantic garden and park, welcomes its guests offering the quitness of its rural environment.
