Surrounded by a farm where the Vinho Verde is produced, Casa da Granja is located in a small village called Vila Nune. Full of old traditions, since the primitive construction in the 11th Century, this manor house still keeps the singularity of always being inherited by a lady and bears witness to an intriguing love story, when in the 11th Century a lady of noble descent fell in love with a young valet. In the face of family resentment they resolved to run away together, and settled in the house where Casa da Granja stands today.
